Sally is neurodivergent, an autism advocate who believes in kindness, respect, and the beauty of different brains. She is an award winning author who features neurodivergent characters in her writing.

10:00 AM -10:30 AM Networking/Resource Fair

10:30 AM - 12:00 PM BREAKOUT SESSION 1:

A. Relationships in Neurodiversity will include a moderated panel discussion with ASD adults

B. How & Where to Get Help with ASD Social & Emotional Challenges will include representatives from mental health services, school districts, community supports

12:00 PM - 1:30 PM Lunch/Networking/Resource Fair/Book signing

*Spectrum Social Meet and Greet Lunch: A hosted exclusive event for ASD adults in attendance.

1:30 PM - 3:00 PM BREAKOUT SESSION 2 :

A. CRISIS MANAGEMENT-When Things Get Out of Control Lecture and moderated panel from community providers including Rady’s ER and ADI, SDRC crisis service providers-Safety Alert, START, Fred Finch Wrap, Advance North; PERT

B. AUTISM: Co-Occurring Mental Health Conditions & Psychopharmacology Lecture by board certified psychiatrists

RESOURCE FAIR: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Comprised of local agencies & companies who provide social & mental health services for autistic children, adults & their families.

*We will have a “sensory” room available all day for autistic attendees who need a break throughout the day.

We are pleased to announce that Regional Center funding is available and our vendor number is PY3056. Funding approval from your Service Coordinator is required prior to registering. Once your service coordinator has approved funding, select the Regional Center Funding ticket option. Be sure to provide your service coordinator's full name, email address and/or phone number when you register.
